Dr. Kyle Kuhlman is a graduate of Truman State University (1999) and Logan College of Chiropractic (2003).  He has been practicing in Brentwood for the past ten years!  After competing in high school athletics and collegiate rugby, Dr. Kuhlman developed a passion for athletic training, rehabilitation, and improving the function of the human body.

Dr. Kuhlman specializes in the treatment of back pain, neck pain, sports and runner's injuries, migraine and tension headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, and shoulder injuries.  He treats these conditions using chiropractic adjusting, muscular stretching and rehabiliation, and home exercise programs.  His theory is that by balancing spinal and muscular conditions, the body is more able to heal itself, and you are able to perform the activities that are important to you better without pain.

My Chiropractic Story:

In college, I injured my back and shoulder playing rugby.  I never did anything about it, but six months later I had nagging back pain and was still unable to throw a ball without pain. I worked with a Logan student at the time, who recommended I try chiropractic.  I found more that just a remedy for my back and shoulder, but a profession that offered everything I was looking for.  A way to provide an alternative to traditional healthcare, drugs, and surgery, utilizing instead manual treatment, rehabilitation, and nutrition to maximize your health.

Dr. Kyle and his wife Shannon have lived in Kirkwood for the past ten years.  Their children are Jack, Charlie and Max.  Aside from the family, his interests include racketball, golf, softball, running, church, and spending time with his friends.  Dr. Kyle serves on the board of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, serves as a Boy Scout volunteer, and coaches various youth sports teams.

Dr. Kuhlman was born in Kansas City, MO, but has lived in St. Louis most of his life.  He graduated from Parkway North High School in 1994, where he was a three sport athlete and an active part of many organizations including completing his Eagle Scout.  Dr. Kuhlman then graduated from Truman State University, where he majored in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Physical Therapy.  While at Truman, he was active with his fraternity, and played for three years on Truman's Division I rugby team that was rated in the top 10 in the nation, and was a two time rugby collegiate all-star.
