Dr. Damien Busold, born and raised in Sydney, Australia, came to the United States in 1994 to pursue a college education. While attending Truman State College, he joined the rugby team, continuing in a sport he had played since he was a child of 5 in Sydney. Playing the position of hooker, he and his team competed at the elite 8 Division I National Championships two years in a row.
Prior to graduating from Truman State, Dr. Busold was offered a position at St. Luke's Hospital in Cardiac Rehabilitation. His love for helping people and the fact that his girlfriend, Holly, lived near the hospital made his decision to remain in St. Louis relatively easy. The decision proved to be the right one as he discovered his work in Cardiac rehab was very rewarding and fulfilling, enabling him to help hundreds of patients recovering from heart surgery. It was during this time that he searched for a field of health or medicine that would allow him to have more of an impact by focusing on preventative care. That search lead him to Chiropractic.
In 2001, Dr. Busold married Holly, now a labor and delivery nurse at St. John's Mercy Medical Center. The Busolds have two children, a son, Logan and a daughter, Isabella who have both received regular adjustments from their daddy since birth.
